Aunt Lara came to visit me in the hospital, Grandma Juanita decorated our mailbox at home so all the neighbors would know I was a girl, and as soon as we got home, Daddy taught me the proper way to drool. |

My first Christmas (1997) started out in Georgia, then we flew to Oklahoma where I got to meet my daddy’s side of the family. I sat in grandpa’s and grandma’s laps. |

On my first Christmas, I wore the same outfit that my daddy wore on his first Christmas! On my first birthday we visited grandma and grandpa in Alva, and my cousins (from Norman) in Tulsa. |
